Hi, I'm friends with Melissa and found your blog from her blog roll. I liked your name - Mommy going crazy.
Anyway, I saw your Honeymoon post about your daughter having diabetes. Type 1 I'm assuming. I can't imagine how hard that must be for you as a mother to have to watch your child go through that. I was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes when I was 10. I have been living with it for over 20 years. I am proud to say I have had 3 successful pregnancies and 3 perfect children. As a teenager I didn't think I could have my own kids. There have been wonderful advancements with medicine and they no longer discourage diabetic women from getting pregnant. With increased technology like insulin pumps and continuous glucose monitors, diabetics can live such normal lives most people don't even know they're diabetic.
It's certainly not an easy disease to live with but it does get easier I promise. Hang in there. You're doing great.
Thank goodness for the good days! :)
